About the project
The project covered a complete survey of uniquely well-preserved medieval castle architecture with a complex building history. The work took in the castle itself, the farm buildings including the brewery, and the surrounding land, roughly 4 hectares in all.
The castle is regarded as an important example of late Gothic architecture with late Gothic and Renaissance alterations, and is listed as a cultural monument (ÚSKP 36329/6-1332). The scanning provided both planimetric and altimetric data for the whole castle complex and its immediate surroundings.
