About the project
The project involved building a complete three-dimensional model of the heating plant and the surrounding operational buildings at the Synthesia industrial site. The survey covered roughly 7 000 m² and was carried out with a Trimble X9 system.
After the scanning phase the data was processed in specialist software and the resulting model delivered in AutoCAD format. The digital model was used to plan the reconstruction and the replacement of some of the plant's pipework and turbine components.
